Mom Central, a leading social media agency, finds in a survey of 1106 women, that Moms are spending as many as 15 hours a week in their car, doing errands and driving their children from place to place. At the same time, more than a third of those surveyed drive between 6-10 hours a week.
Nearly 75% of the moms surveyed admit their cars are "messy" or "very messy" and nearly 40% of moms would rather other adults do not see their cars.
Psychologically, the state of the car also has an effect on moms. More than 24% of those surveyed say they are embarrassed by the state of their cars and 45% say they consider their car a reflection of themselves.
Of the more than 1000 responses, moms reveal how their cars make them feel. One writes she feels, "Embarrassed! I'm always scared someone will see the mess." Another says, "It's horrible. Spilled juice and food, bags, trash, diapers, toys. I hate getting into my car."
